  1. Overseas buyers, for as little as $3,000.00 (includes all export costs) Canadian per animal we can (not including the price of the animal) ship your animal to you. Two thousand dollars per animal includes costs for shipping, building of temporary pens, export documents, quarantine, disease control and testing, registration with CLAA in buyers name. Ie. You will not incur any further costs for export, other than that which is quoted to you, guaranteed.

CLAA Benefits:

    • They conform to the strict regulations for registration that were implemented by the CLAA.
    • The CLAA is the only legal registry in Canada recognized for alpacas / llamas.  
    • Approved and government regulated under the Animal Pedigree Act by the Canadian Livestock Registry Corporation (CLRC).

The CLRC is a federal government regulated agency under the Minister of Agriculture working under the animal pedigree act. It was originally put in place to implement and protect purebred livestock registration in Canada. Only one association is authorized to register through the CLRC per distinct breed.

    • The CLAA is the only association authorized by the CLRC for Alpaca and Llama registrations. This protects the breed and the breed standards.
    • The CLRC manages all the registrations of all purebred livestock, including the issuance of certificates of registration, transfers, identification, etc.
    • The CLRC is known worldwide for their professionalism, attention to detail, and of the strict standards and regulations set out in the animal pedigree act bi-laws.

Overseas sales for animals purchased from this site will be managed by Devine West Ranch.

    • The animals are quarantined as required (depending on the importing countries requirements) at the Devine West Ranch. Devine West Ranch is a CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) federally approved quarantine facility.
    • Are tested for diseases per all import and export permit requirements (depending on where they are being shipped to).
    • Manages the total transaction for you from beginning to the end. This means only one company to deal with to get the purchase completed correctly, efficiently, and with only one middle company working with each countries officials.
    • We complete all the Canadian paperwork required for export for you. We make purchasing from Canada a truly enjoyable experience.
